Overview
Classroom 2 Community is seeking an outstanding Full-Time Online ESL Instructor who believes adult education changes lives.Our instructors are more than teachers. They are coaches, mentors, innovators, and advocates who help adult learners build English proficiency, confidence, digital skills, and pathways to meaningful employment.
We believe excellent instruction is both compassionate and accountable. Our instructors use student data, assessments, and measurable outcomes to guide instruction, celebrate progress, and continuously improve student success.
This position teaches four days per week online using a split daytime/evening schedule (10-1PM and 6-9 PM ET) and includes dedicated office hours to provide individualized student support.

Duties
- Teach engaging ESL classes using C2C curriculum and instructional model.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom that supports adult learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Measure and document student progress using assessments and performance data.
- Use assessment results to adjust instruction and help students reach measurable learning goals.
- Hold weekly office hours to provide individualized academic coaching and accountability.
- Integrate technology and digital learning tools into instruction.
- Maintain accurate attendance, assessment, and student records.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and instructional practices.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
- Contribute ideas that improve student outcomes and strengthen our programs.
- Adapt quickly as programs evolve to meet changing student and workforce needs.
- Maintain high expectations for student attendance, participation, persistence, and achievement.
Required
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience teaching adult English language learners
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Comfort using educational technology and online teaching platforms
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- A commitment to using student data, assessments, and measurable outcomes to improve instruction and learner success
Preferred
- TESOL, TEFL, or related certification
- Experience teaching workforce-focused ESL
- Experience teaching online or hybrid courses
- Experience integrating digital literacy into instruction
- Experience working in organizations undergoing growth, innovation, or continuous improvement

Pay: $52,500.00 per year
