Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Current or eligible licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Virginia
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, educators, and families
- Ability to organize and manage caseloads across K-12 populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Provide direct and consultative services tailored to student needs
