Big-Dill Hospitality is a family-owned restaurant group that owns and operates Muchacho Tex-Mex, Whistle Britches, Even Coast, Casa Brasa, Kamila, and coming soon Maroma, and TiO. Helmed by Chef Omar Flores, a two-time James Beard Semi-Finalist, Best Chef SW and Dallas Rising Star Chef, this is Chef Flores’ newest passion project several years in the making.
Position Overview:
We’re currently hiring for Service Support Team Members — positions that include Server Assistant, Food Runner, and Busser roles. The Service Support team plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and an exceptional guest experience. This position supports servers and bartenders by maintaining a clean, organized dining room and assisting with all service needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist servers with all aspects of table service, maintaining a refined and efficient dining rhythm.
- Run dishes from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately, ensuring correct presentation.
- Clear, reset, and polish tables and glassware between courses and seatings.
- Monitor and refill water and beverages as needed.
- Collaborate with the service and culinary teams to ensure flawless communication and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in service stations and support areas.
- Contribute to the setup and breakdown of service areas at the beginning and end of shifts.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in upscale/fine dining
- Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and hospitality skills.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work in a standing position for 8-10 hours per day
- Ability to lift 60lbs (50lbs overhead)
- Stand for a long period of time.
- Be able to kneel, crouch, stoop, twist, reach, push, pull and grasp throughout the day.
- Hearing and speech to communicate in person or over telephone.
