About ATHL
ATHL (pronounced “Athlete”) is a recovery-first facility built exclusively for youth athletes under 18. Professional and collegiate athletes have dedicated recovery rooms, licensed clinical staff, and structured care built into their daily routine. Youth athletes train just as hard and have none of it. ATHL closes that gap by bringing the recovery standard of professional and collegiate athletics to young athletes in a single membership-based facility.
Our clinical team of Physical Therapists, Athletic Trainers, and Recovery Technicians works together under one roof, delivering structured recovery, restorative movement, and clinical oversight across dedicated zones. Every session is built around helping young athletes recover the right way so they can stay healthy, keep developing, and love their sport for the long term. ATHL is the flagship brand of TELOS ATHL, Inc.
Position Overview
The Recovery Technician is the hands-on engine of the ATHL recovery floor. Working under the direction of the Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer, the Recovery Technician operates the facility's recovery modalities, guides athletes through prescribed recovery protocols, and keeps every zone clean, safe, and session-ready. Collegiate and professional recovery rooms run on skilled technicians who know the equipment, know the athletes, and execute protocols precisely. This role brings that same standard to young athletes. The Recovery Technician must be comfortable working with multiple athletes at once in a high-energy, structured environment and communicating clearly with supervising clinical staff.
