Join Sanctuary Treatment Center, an outpatient psychiatric and behavioral health practice in Scottsdale dedicated to helping individuals and families heal, recover, and rebuild their lives.
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our clinical team with a blend of administrative and patient-facing duties — front desk , scheduling and clinical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk & Administrative :
- Warmly greet and check in patients, providing a supportive and welcoming environment.
- Verify insurance eligibility, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow.
- Handle multi-line phone systems, patient communication, and electronic health records (EMR) with accuracy.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all interactions.
- Help administer psyhiatrical and psychological tests and support treatment plan documentation.
- Prepare examination rooms and assist with clinical procedures as needed.
Who You Are:
- Certified or experienced Medical Assistant, preferably with exposure to psychiatry or behavioral health.
- Proficient in EMR systems, medical terminology, and Microsoft Office.
- Empathetic communicator with strong patient service skills and cultural sensitivity.
- Highly organized, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and committed to person-centered care.
- Experience with TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) or Ketamine treatment protocols is a valuable asset, though not required.
