As a Diesel Mechanic at Universal Truck Service, you will work on a wide variety of heavy-duty trucks and equipment in a modern, well-lit shop with updated technology. One day you are diagnosing a complex electrical issue, the next you are performing brake and suspension repairs or working through a transmission job. Perform PM services, brake and ABS repairs, suspension and drivetrain work

Diagnose and repair electrical systems - chassis and engine

Perform transmission and driveline repairs

Accurately document all work performed

Maintain a clean, safe work area at all times
Full-time. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift openings available. 2nd and 3rd shift include a $2/hr shift differential. 3rd shift runs 4/10s.

2+ years of experience as a Diesel Technician or Diesel Mechanic

Own tools and toolbox

Valid driver's license

Solid work ethic, attention to detail, and basic computer skills

High school diploma required; technical degree or DOT certification a plus

$28–$40/hr depending on experience

$3,000 sign-on bonus

$1000- $1,500 performance bonus every 90 days(80% of our Diesel Mechanics hit it)

$300 tool and boot bonus every 90 days
