CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Identify improvement opportunities in existing manufacturing operations, justify procedural changes or process modifications, and established operating procedures for the plant throughout the life of continuous improvement projects

Collect and analyze data, justify procedural changes or process modifications, and establish operating procedures for the plant throughout the life of continuous improvement projects.

Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output

Create Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) for existing and future state projects.

Manage cost and time constraints for low to medium complexity projects.

Conduct safety assessments to ensure safe practices are not sacrificed by procedural changes or process modifications.

Serve as a technical lead in one or more subject areas.

Generate process documentation, training, and standard operating procedures
-
Optimize processes to attain lower manufacturing costs, increase productivity, and reduced cycle times

Lead tactical site-level projects and contribute to regional and divisional projects
-
Improve process procedures by partnering with operating employees in various departments to collect and analyze and implement results via training or capital expenditure recommendations.

Identify procedural changes to improve manufacturing efficiencies.

Assist management team in the execution and completion of CIP Projects.

Utilize SHW control and quality systems to maximum benefit.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment visa status
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field.
Must have at least three (3) years’ experience in Engineering or related field.
MS Viso, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint,
Data Analytic Tools such as Watson, Business Objects
Preferred:
Certifications: Six Sigma Knowledge, Transactional Lean, Root Cause Analysis
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
