EchoNous is a medical device startup company in the Seattle area. We are developing AI-driven ultrasound-based tools and systems that will empower all clinicians to solve common everyday problems in healthcare. We are looking for a full-time Clinical Engagement Manager to support our product development and go-to-market efforts of a new product for patients in the critical care environment.
As the Clinical Engagement Manager, your passion for patient care, medical experience, and clinical workflow perspective will help EchoNous understand the clinical needs of our customers. You will develop a deep understanding of EchoNous target clinicians and the competitive landscape and help guide the development and marketing of our offerings in accordance with sound business practices. You will provide expert clinical support, education, and training to critical care physicians, nurses, and hospital staff on the implementation and use of EchoNous cardiac devices and interventions. You will manage clinical research sites, providing on-site training and support, and collecting clinical benefit and economic evidence to support product claims and broad market adoption. You customer relationships will allow you to collect customer feedback for future product improvements and use cases.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert (SME), supporting customers in the use of EchoNous products in the critical care hospital setting.

Use product and clinical workflow knowledge to develop training and support materials.
- Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel on technical matters relating to our products and therapies. This is achieved by coordinating: one-on-one sessions, in-service education programs, seminars, conferences, and/or outside symposiums.

Work with research collaborators and internal teams to design and execute off-site clinical studies to confirm product value propositions. Develop training materials and train clinical sites to ensure successful completion of clinical studies. Provide support during study execution and follow up activities.

Manage the clinical aspects of new site implementations: assessing workflows, evaluating education needs, creating education plans, determining configuration requirements, planning and delivering equipment and application education, supporting first customer use, encouraging ongoing adoption of change, and optimizing customer usage of EchoNous solutions.

Identify and define opportunities to improve the functionality, quality, cost, and effectiveness of software-driven workflows for clinicians.

Collect and communicate customer feedback and clinical insights to internal teams (sales, marketing, R&D), shaping product strategy and driving business growth.

Stay up to date on clinical literature, competitive products, and evolving treatment guidelines.

Work directly with Growth Marketing (Campaigns, Content, Events, Communications) to ensure product messaging is in line with customer needs and product value propositions.

Work with sales leadership to ensure the sales and clinical teams have the proper tools and training to fully understand the product benefits, ensure positioning is aligned with customer problem statements, and uniquely differentiate our offerings from the competition.
Education and Experience

Must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant training program or Nurse Practitioner program.
- In the past 10 years, practiced as an Advanced Practice Provider for at least:

3 years in Hospital Critical Care, 5+ years’ experience preferred.
Qualifications

Prior experience with critical care workflows, staffing, and patient support.

You’re passionate about technology and education related to patient care.

Ability to learn and understand scientific facts & industry specific solutions and then package the information into a cohesive business cases and training solutions for healthcare professionals.

You have excellent interpersonal verbal, written, and presentation skills. Able to communicate complex clinical content in an easy-to-understand manner to all levels of an organization.

Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, hospital staff, patients and their families.

Works well within teams both cross-functionally and teams that may or may be not located within a specific building or geography.

Willingness to travel to clinical research sites, customer training events, conferences and other initiatives as needed up to 60%.

Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Meet/Teams/Zoom with ability to execute virtual programs and presentations with the customer.

Ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements.
