Under the supervision of the Vice President of Information & Systems, the Information Systems Senior Manager serves as the operational leader responsible for ensuring Unity Health Care's technology infrastructure and Epic environment are secure, reliable, and optimized to support clinical and administrative operations. This position oversees day-to-day IT operations across multiple health center locations, manages IT leadership and technical support teams, and partners with organizational leaders to ensure technology solutions align with Unity's mission, strategic goals, and regulatory requirements.

Provide leadership, supervision, and performance management for Information Systems Managers and technical teams.

Establish performance expectations, key performance indicators (KPIs), and accountability measures across IT operations and Epic support.

Foster a culture of customer service, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Oversee daily IT operations, including infrastructure, service desk, telecommunications, audiovisual systems, project management, training, and Epic support.

Ensure the stability, security, and availability of Epic, network infrastructure, cloud services, servers, identity management, and clinical technology.

Lead IT projects by developing project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocations while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Monitor IT service desk performance, manage escalations, and improve service delivery to support clinical and administrative users.

Partner with clinical and operational leaders to support workflow improvements, system implementations, go-lives, and technology optimization initiatives.

Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Build and maintain relationships with vendors while managing technology contracts and service agreements.

Collaborate with Epic and other technology vendors to resolve application issues and implement system enhancements.

Identify operational risks, communicate recommendations, and provide regular project and operational updates to executive leadership.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of five (5) years of progressive IT experience, including at least three (3) years in a supervisory or management role.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting information systems within a healthcare organization.

Experience supporting Epic or another enterprise electronic health record (EHR) platform.

Epic certification in the applicable module(s), or the ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire.

Demonstrated experience leading IT operations, infrastructure, and enterprise technology projects.

Strong leadership, analytical, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with clinical, operational, and executive leadership.
