- Process transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures, including cash register operation and balancing
- Support customers with basic math calculations for purchases, discounts, or financing options, ensuring clarity and confidence in transactions
- Handle inquiries related to retail sales, banking services, or financial products with professionalism and clarity
- Assist in maintaining store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting environment for shoppers
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service consistently
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a proactive attitude are key!
- Familiarity with banking or financial services can be advantageous, especially in understanding basic loan processing or financial software tools
- Strong math skills, including retail math and 10-key typing proficiency, are essential for accurate transactions and calculations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist customers and explain product or service details clearly
- Ability to handle cash operations confidently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and cashiering procedures
