Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring guest rooms and public areas are spotless, welcoming, and maintained to the highest standards. Your efforts will directly contribute to guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of our hotel.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established protocols
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities to ensure a fresh environment
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and perform floor care to maintain cleanliness and safety
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a hygienic environment for guests and staff
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and special cleaning requests when necessary
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual cleaning tasks throughout shifts
- Familiarity with hotel standards and hospitality practices is a plus
- Previous custodial or housekeeping management experience is advantageous but not required
