Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and a strong mechanical aptitude. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a technician. Applicant must have excellent customer service and communication skills, excel in a fast-paced environment and possess basic computer skills. Heavy Line - Engine /Transmission Replacement knowledge. Duties
Examine customers’ vehicles for main concern and provide recommendations for repairs.
Using Diagnostic Equipment and Special Service tools to test vehicle components.
Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical, air conditioning, etc.
Performing requested repair work in a productive and efficient manner.
The technician is responsible for providing the Service Advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs needed.
Request necessary parts for repair.
Perform quality checks to assure that repair work meets dealership and manufacturer standards.
Test vehicles both before and after repair.
Fix Right the First Time processes.
Other duties may be assigned.
Experience
