- Payment Posting: Accurately apply insurance payments, adjustments, and denials (EOB/ERA) to patient accounts.
- Reconciliation: Balance daily deposits, electronic funds transfers (EFTs), and checks to ensure accuracy.
- Denial Management: Identify, document, and route claim denials or underpayments for follow-up.
- Data Entry: Enter patient payments and insurance reimbursements into the practice management system.
- Audit/Reporting: Review accounts for accuracy, verify electronic claim transmission, and report discrepancies to management.
