This position is for a support role in a school aged Summer Camp program working with kid's ages 5-7. This role's day includes nature walks, supervision on the playground, Grant Park hangs, hosting story circles, wiping down tables/sweeping after meals, art projects and lots of play! This is a good job for someone wanting to begin work with kids and provides opportunities past just summer for the right candidate!
Licensing requires a background check, we will send you the link right when you apply. Current pediatric CPR/first aid or the ability to acquire within 30 days is required as well as current Food Handlers certification for OR. There are State created trainings about childcare that are required upon employment and are free.
Experience for this role is not required, rather a flexible, creative, and warm spirit! The position is M-F 8:30-5:30 with an hour off midday. There are some summer paid days off! Staff are also provided a comprehensive health care package.
