Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Warehouse Associate Lead to join our fast-paced distribution center team. This role offers the opportunity to work across various departments, supporting inventory management, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and heavy equipment operation. As a key team member, you will ensure smooth warehouse operations by handling materials, operating equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
We would like this candidate to be willing and able to contribute two multiple departments (warehouse, front office). The primary focus would be working in the warehouse, with this person having the willingness and ability to assist with customers who chose to pick up their orders at the warehouse location.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and pick orders to load, unload, move, and organize materials safely and efficiently.
- Support shipping & receiving activities by preparing shipments, verifying orders with pick lists, packing items securely, and managing documentation for order fulfillment.
- Load & unload trucks using heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and materials handling.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following safety procedures for warehouse operations and heavy equipment use.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding products, services, and order status.
Experience
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers; certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and stock accuracy.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different roles within the office environment while maintaining a high level of safety and efficiency.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
