Groomer – Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Provide grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to owner instructions and breed standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and calm environment for all pets in your care.
- Build long‑term relationships with pet owners by understanding their needs and offering appropriate product or service recommendations.
- Complete required safety training and follow all grooming and sanitation protocols.
- Assist store team members during grooming downtime.
- Continue developing grooming skills and techniques as you grow your career.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of grooming experience with formal training or experience under a certified groomer.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or stoop for extended periods.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be 18 or older and pass applicable drug screening.
