Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSS) who are established in their own mental health or substance use recovery. This role provides recovery-based peer support, guidance, and encouragement to clients, helping them build independence, social connections, and successful participation in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide peer support grounded in personal recovery experience.
- Empower clients with self-help strategies and coping tools.
- Assist clients with referrals to housing, social services, and community resources.
- Help clients build social skills and confidence for community engagement.
- Support clients in achieving personal goals and independence.

Qualifications
- North Carolina Peer Support Certification (NC CPSS) required prior to hire.
- Minimum of 2 years in personal recovery from mental health or substance use challenges.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle.
- Access to a smartphone, laptop, etc. for communication and documentation purposes.
