Laundry Attendant:
-
Maintaining and updates the laundry assignment daily sheet.

Complies with all departmental policies, procedures, and standards.

Light and deep cleaning of laundry facility- sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, polish washers.

Picks up and sorts dirty linen from linen closets.

Records sends out, receives and organizes all guest, employee, and household dry cleaning.

Replaces records and disposes of empty chemical drums.
-
Folds and organizes bed linens and guest room items.
-
Spot treats and process stained linens.
-
Maintains timing and volume input/output of washers and dryers.
-
Maintains the laundry facility organized, safe and clean.
-
Assist team members when needed.

Reports and records any lost and found items.
-
Responds to room attendant and supervisor(s) calls in a timely manner.

Follows all safety and sanitation procedures that pertain to the job.

Reports and records any damages, discrepancies and or malfunctioned equipment to supervisor(s).

Assists in daily linen counts for monthly inventories.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
