Responsibilities
- Operate various types of heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, replenishment, and updating of warehouse management systems such as AS400.
- Perform order picking and packing tasks efficiently using RF scanners and other tools to ensure correct items are selected for shipping.
- Handle shipping and receiving duties by preparing shipments, verifying incoming deliveries against purchase orders, and maintaining proper documentation.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials for manufacturing or delivery, ensuring proper stocking levels, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Utilize pallet jacks and other mechanical devices for heavy lifting and materials handling tasks.
- Assist in packaging products securely for shipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow processes and improve overall warehouse management efficiency.
