About the Role
As a Ground Support Equipment Technician, you will ensure the safety and operational readiness of a diverse fleet of heavy machinery and specialized vehicles. You will leverage your expertise in mechanical troubleshooting and electrical diagnostics to minimize downtime and keep critical operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities-
Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance and complex repairs on engine, transmission, hydraulic, and braking systems.

Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technical schematics to identify and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions.

Manage maintenance documentation, parts inventory, and work orders through Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS).

Collaborate with operational teams to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and maintenance schedules.

Perform routine inspections of tools and facilities to maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.

Provide rapid response to equipment issues, ensuring operational continuity during varying weather conditions.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or equivalent with fluency in English.

Proven experience diagnosing and repairing diesel-powered machinery and ground service equipment.

Proficiency with specialized diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and technical manuals.

Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work at heights exceeding 20 feet.

Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to pass security background checks.

Must own a personal set of standard mechanics tools.

Experience training or mentoring junior technicians on maintenance procedures.

Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with diverse stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Prior experience working in an aviation or heavy industrial setting.
