Not-for-profit nurse registry associated with 5-star CMS rated Finnish-American Skilled Nursing and deficiency-free Assisted Living is seeking compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and HHAs for our HOME CARE to provide care for aged clients who need assistance with bathing, dressing, meal prep, light housekeeping, driving to appointments etc. in Palm Beach County.
Delray Beach - Boca Raton
We are looking for drivers with ability to drive clients to/from doctors/shopping and for those who are willing to work consistent schedules as well as call-out shifts.
Personal Care & Assistance:
- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including some assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming.
- Assistance with light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, etc.
- Assist with mobility, range-of-motion exercises, and transfers to/from commode/chair/bed.
- Monitor and support the client’s well-being, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Drive clients to/from doctor's appointments/errands
- Support the client in maintaining hobbies or other personal interests.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
- Current CPR Card required
- A completed Level II Background Screening required: https://info.flclearinghouse.com
- Professional Liability Insurance Policy preferred
- Recent Physical
- Chest Xray/TB Test Results
- Vehicle with current registration and valid auto insurance policy required
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility, able to deliver exceptional results without constant oversight and supervision
- Flexible and willing to adapt to a variety of tasks including light housekeeping and driving clients to appointments
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 35 pounds
- Hoyer Lift experience a plus
- Weekend availability preferred
