Innovative Health Care Concepts, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our Counseling Center. This role is essential to providing high-quality administrative and patient support for providers. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and able to work independently while learning new skills quickly in a fast-paced medical office environment.Key Responsibilities
- Ensure patients feel supported and informed throughout their experience
- Manage patient scheduling, phone calls, and general inquiries
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and assist with patient conflict resolution when needed
- Assist with opening the office and maintaining daily operational readiness
- Build and maintain new patient files
- Maintain strict compliance with patient privacy and HIPAA regulations
- Archive records and coordinate medical records with other providers
- Support clinical staff with day-to-day administrative activities
- Effectively multitask while maintaining a professional image and positive attitude
Qualifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong clerical and administrative skills, including keyboarding, filing, and written communication
- Experience working in a medical or office environment
- Experience with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is preferred
- Spanish speaking is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and manage multiple priorities
Position Details
- Part-Time position
- Monday through Thursday, 10-5:00 PM with potential to move into a full time roll
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
