Well Driller
Seeking a full-time experienced Rotary Water Well Driller
Well Driller Duties and Responsibilities
- Operates water well drilling rigs and other equipment to drill, bore, and dig for residential and light commercial water wells
- Document and maintain Well Completion Reports and Drill Out Logs
- Provides other drilling services, such as repair or dismantling of the existing water well structure
- Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs water well pumps, piping systems, and equipment
- Setup and operate portable drilling rig with proper stabilization and setbacks from electrical hazards
- Responsible for notifying supervisor of any potential safety or equipment issue, immediately
- Responsible for wearing appropriate safety/protective clothing/gear
- Other duties as assigned
Well Driller Requirements and Qualifications
- Knows state codes on how to construct wells, including isolation distances and grouting requirements
- Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background/driving check is required
- Ability to sit, climb, squat, bend or stand for an extended period of time. In addition, ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Ability to communicate and report effectively
- Good physical condition and stamina
Compensation
- Based on experience
- Full Time: 40-50+ hour work week

Experience:
- Residential Well Drilling: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Valid Driver's License - minimum 3 years (Required)
- Valid CDL A (Preferred)
