Direct Support Professionals at Haven View play a vital role in the day-to-day care, support, and personal development of the individuals we serve. Your primary responsibility is to provide compassionate, high-quality care to clients while ensuring their health, safety, and overall well-being. You will assist with daily living activities, implement care plans, and maintain accurate documentation. As a Direct Support Professional, you are responsible for supporting the individuals we serve by promoting independence, dignity, and respect.

- As a Direct Support Professional member, your primary focus is the health, safety, and overall well-being of the clients in your care. You are expected to provide high-quality support while fostering a positive, respectful, and empowering environment.
- You are responsible for completing all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that the care provided is properly tracked and communicated to supervisors.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude at all times, especially in challenging situations. Your role requires patience, empathy, and a commitment to the dignity and independence of every client you support.
- Be proactive in addressing any concerns related to client care or program operations, and communicate these concerns promptly to your program manager.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in caregiving, direct support, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.
- Must pass a background check and maintain all required certifications, including CPR/First Aid.
