Full-Time Cook
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Full-Time Cook to join our assisted living community. The Cook is responsible for preparing nutritious, appetizing meals for residents while following dietary guidelines, food safety standards, and established menus. This position plays an important role in enhancing the dining experience and overall well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve daily meals according to approved menus and dietary requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Properly store, label, and rotate food products.
- Accommodate special dietary needs and preferences of residents.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure excellent service and resident satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous cooking experience preferred, especially in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Compassionate attitude and commitment to providing quality service to older adults.
