Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Engineer Technician to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting manufacturing, maintenance, and construction projects by applying your technical expertise and mechanical knowledge. Duties
- Assist with project scheduling to ensure timely completion of maintenance and fabrication tasks
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues affecting equipment performance or system failures
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for assembly and troubleshooting purposes
- Utilize AutoCAD and CAD software to create, modify, and review technical drawings and fabrication plans
- Perform electrical soldering, mechanical assembly, and fabrication tasks using hand tools and specialized equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions by analyzing schematics, conducting data collection, and implementing repairs
- Support maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) activities by performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Gather data for analysis to improve manufacturing processes or resolve operational issues
- Apply mechanical knowledge to assist with construction projects or system installations using fabrication techniques
Skills
- Strong project scheduling abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Expertise in root cause analysis for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical problems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD, and electrical blueprint reading for technical design work
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and programming
- Solid understanding of math principles relevant to technical calculations and measurements
- Experience with equipment troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Mechanical knowledge including assembly, fabrication, and mechanical system integration
- Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints accurately
- Skilled in electrical soldering, wiring techniques, and electrical blueprint reading
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures for manufacturing or construction environments
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, fabrication equipment, and assembly processes
- Data collection skills for operational analysis or quality control purposes
