Join Stanislaus County PAL for a rewarding part-time opportunity as a Recreation Leader or Substitute Recreation Leader at an assigned after-school program! Substitute positions are available if you’re looking for flexibility. If you are a student at a local community college or university or simply looking for a part-time position, you’ll enjoy a consistent work schedule throughout the entire school year since this position works when school is in session. Limited positions also during the winter, spring, and summer program session. In this role, you’ll lead a dynamic group of students through a variety of enriching activities, including physical activities such as sports activities, academic support, and creative enrichment. EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
>Must be available to work Monday - Friday between 2:00-6:00 on regular days, and as early as 12 pm on minimum days throughout the week.
>Must pass Stanislaus County PAL background check.
> 48 college units or No Child Left Behind Certificate (NCLB)
> CPR & First Aid Certificate (every 2 years, within 90 days of employment)
> Mandated reporter certification (Yearly)
> Tuberculosis clearance (Every 4 years)
>Minimum of eighteen years of age at date of application. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
