East West Staffing, Inc. (EWS) is currently seeking an experienced Low Voltage Data Technician. Technicians should be able to operate boom or scissor lift. This position will involve the potential for Midwest regional travel, but will start in Arkansas.
Requirements of the Low Voltage Technician
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening
- Valid Driver’s License
- Able to lead and support commercial low voltage projects involving installations and repairs
- Scissors and Boom Lift Experience preferred
- Ability to work from heights such as man lifts, scissor lifts & roof tops utilizing proper fall protection.
- Ability to use small hand tools and power tools
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and drive a vehicle.

Responsibilities of the Low Voltage Technician
- Ability to properly install & terminate both copper and fiber optic cable. (Cat5e, Cat6, etc.).
- Ability to properly create and install labels.
- Ability to perform all component and system testing.
- Ability to complete the tasks assigned in a timely manner.
- Ability to understand basic wiring diagrams and installation instructions.
- Ability to work with small telecommunication components such as fiber optic strands and small gauge copper wire.
- Use proper care on all company assets to avoid breakage, misuse, theft, etc.
- Help load and unload daily supplies and equipment on to and off of company vehicles.
- Knowledgeable on the proper use of basic hand tools.
- Ability to act in a professional and courteous manner on all matters involving the customer.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
