Sound Animal Rehabilitation and Fitness is a privately owned, rapidly growing veterinary rehabilitation (physical therapy), pain management and canine fitness practice located Birmingham, AL and we are looking to grow our team! We are proud to be Birmingham's only veterinary practice that exclusively focuses on rehabilitation, pain management and canine fitness. We are interested in finding team members that are either a licensed veterinary technician or an experienced veterinary assistant with 5 or more years of clinical experience. Candidates with an interest in canine physical therapy, geriatric mobility, small animal sports medicine and canine fitness will be given preference. Being a rehabilitation veterinary technician or assistant is a physical job that requires repetitive squatting, getting up and down off of the floor, twisting and bending over, sometimes while supporting the weight of the patient. Candidates must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Compensation will be determined based on experience and credentials, with room for growth, leadership and the development of your new skill set as a rehabilitation technician or assistant. We will also consider a tuition stipend for certification in the specialty of rehabilitation for a licensed veterinary technician or a qualified veterinary assistant.
