Duties
As a non medical caregiver, you'll help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes by providing:
- Companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Meal preparation/Light Housekeeping
- Monitor and report changes in the client's health, behavior, or environment
- Medication reminders (no medical tasks)
- Errands and transportation to appointments (if applicable)
- Follow care plans and document services provided
- Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and safety at all times
Qualifications
- Reliable and compassionate individuals
- Comfortable working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
- Willing to provide personal care
- Ability to work independently in clients' homes
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass background checks and clearances
- TB testing required (we guide you through the process)
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds, depending on client needs
- 1 year hands-on caregiving experience is preferred but not necessary
- Driver preferred for certain client needs
