- Location: Remote with occasional client visits
- Schedule: Part-Time / Flexible
- Role: Senior Vice President– Commercial Banking & Financial Advisory
About the Role
Coveted Financial Services is seeking an individual with strong financial, banking, and credit experience to support our fractional CFO client engagements. This role is not a traditional banking position. It is a client-facing advisory and execution role designed for someone who understands how banks evaluate businesses and can help our clients become more bankable, stay within loan covenants, and grow responsibly.
At Coveted, one of the foundations of our company is understanding credit. We believe that if a business does not have access to credit, it becomes difficult to grow. Our team helps clients understand their financial position, strengthen their reporting, manage lender expectations, and make informed decisions around cash flow, debt, forecasting, and growth. This Case Manager will perform the normal responsibilities of a fractional CFO support role while bringing a strong understanding of banking, lending, credit analysis, and covenant management.
Responsibilities
· Act as a Case Manager on client engagements, helping business owners understand their financial performance, cash flow, debt structure, and overall financial position.
· Review and analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, forecasts, budgets, and other financial reporting packages.
· Prepare and interpret financial analysis used in fractional CFO engagements, including trend analysis, variance analysis, working capital needs, and forecasting support.
· Perform banking and credit-related analysis, including DSCR analysis, FDP analysis, leverage ratios, liquidity ratios, and covenant compliance reviews.
· Help clients understand what banks and lenders are looking for when evaluating creditworthiness, borrowing capacity, and financial performance.
· Support clients in becoming more bankable by improving financial reporting, strengthening cash flow visibility, and identifying risks that could impact access to credit.
· Help clients understand how to grow within their loan covenants and avoid making decisions that could create credit or lender-compliance issues.
· Assist with lender reporting packages, covenant tracking, borrowing-base support, and financial information requested by banks or other financing partners.
· Work directly with clients, internal team members, and senior leadership to execute client deliverables, identify financial risks, and support strategic decision-making.
· Take a forward-looking approach with clients by helping them understand where they want to go financially and what needs to be in place to get there, whether that includes pursuing acquisitions, opening new locations, improving key financial metrics, strengthening cash flow, or preparing for future growth opportunities.
· Communicate clearly and professionally with business owners, bankers, CPAs, and other outside advisors when needed.
Preferred Experience
· Commercial banking, business banking, C&I lending, SBA lending, credit analysis, portfolio management, or related banking experience.
· Experience reviewing financial statements, underwriting credit, preparing loan presentations, or analyzing borrower performance.
· Understanding of DSCR, leverage ratios, liquidity ratios, financial covenants, working capital needs, and cash flow analysis.
· Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses is strongly preferred.
· Prior fractional CFO, financial advisory, accounting, or business consulting experience is a plus, but not required.
Qualifications
· Strong financial statement analysis skills, including the ability to review P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and forecasts.
· Ability to explain financial and banking concepts to business owners in a clear, practical, and actionable way.
· Comfortable analyzing debt, cash flow, profitability, leverage, and covenant compliance.
· Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
· Ability to manage multiple client priorities and help move deliverables forward.
· Strong communication skills and a client-service mindset.
· Flexible, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a remote environment.
Why Join Coveted?
· Remote and flexible work environment.
· Opportunity to use banking and credit experience in a more advisory-focused role.
· Work directly with business owners and help them better understand their financial position.
· Make a meaningful impact by helping clients improve financial reporting, become more bankable, and grow within their financial capacity.
· Be part of a growing fractional CFO firm that blends financial strategy, operational support, and practical execution for small to mid-sized businesses.
