Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces throughout the facility.
Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and office spaces according to established protocols and schedules.
Restock housekeeping supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are available at all times.
Dispose of trash and hazardous materials in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Follow safety guidelines and infection control practices to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a hygienic environment.
Collaborate with other staff members to address any maintenance or housekeeping-related issues that arise.
Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of residents and staff at all times.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles preferred
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals from diverse backgrounds, including the homeless population.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment commonly used in healthcare or hospitality settings
Ability to work independently and efficiently while adhering to established cleaning schedules and standards
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
