Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Infrastructure and Security Specialist to support and maintain the company's IT environment across both facilities. This is an on-site, non-remote position responsible for the maintenance, security, documentation, and daily operation of all IT infrastructure, systems, and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent documentation habits, and experience supporting secure business operations in a multi-site environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain all IT infrastructure, including on-premises servers, firewalls, internet services, and related network systems.
- Manage and maintain all computer assets, electronic devices, switches, servers and other IT peripherals.
- Support and maintain wiring runs and network cabling as needed for both facilities.
- Monitor, respond to and resolve IT tickets through the company's ticketing system (Connectwise).
- Provide end-user support for hardware, software, network and access-related issues.
- Maintain and update all IT-related documentation in compliance with applicable government and security requirements, including CMMC and NIST 800-171 standards.
- Coordinate with the company's MSP to support infrastructure needs, documentation and security requirements tied to government contracts.
- Maintain and oversee security devices, access control systems and security cameras.
- Manage company websites and support updates or changes as needed.
- Maintain baseline configurations for company computers and assist with device setup, imaging and standardization.
- Decommission computers and related equipment according to company procedures.
- Maintain awareness of system health, security posture and operational reliability across both facilites.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support IT needs across the company.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience supporting IT infrastructure in a business or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of on-premises servers, firewalls, networking and end-point support.
- Experience with computer hardware, electronic devices and IT asset management.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and end-user support workflows.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of CMMC and NIST 800-171 controls preferred.
- Ability to work on-site at both facility locations as needed.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and work with external IT vendors or MSPs.
- Experience with access control, surveillance systems or related security devices preferred.
- Basic knowledge of website maintenance and content updates preferred.
- PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience working in a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with government contract documentation requirements.
- Experience with computer standardization, deployment and decommissioning.
- Working knowledge of network infrastructure, cabling and device lifecycle management.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
