Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Handle waste disposal by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution.
- Use industrial cleaning tools and chemicals safely while adhering to health and safety standards.
- Support facilities maintenance by performing custodial duties that enhance the overall environment's safety and appearance.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and use of cleaning machinery.
- Experience with residential painting or general facilities maintenance is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and equipment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently.
