CNC Machinist – New Iberia, LA

Manufacture and repair products safely and efficiently.

Set up, operate, and monitor assigned CNC machine tools.

Deburr machined parts to remove sharp edges and ensure all quality specifications are met.

Perform daily maintenance on assigned machine tools.

Conduct daily inspections of equipment in the work area.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Assist with other shop duties as assigned by management.

Previous CNC machining experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Ability to work well as part of a team.

Good planning, organizational, and time management skills.

Dependable, punctual, and possesses a strong work ethic.

Willingness to work shift schedules and overtime as needed.

Basic reading, writing, and communication skills.

Primarily works in an enclosed, climate-controlled machine shop.

Some work areas may not be heated or air-conditioned.

Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain when necessary.

Safely perform all assigned job duties.

Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.

Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
