The Clinic Outreach Coordinator is responsible for promoting St. Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center's outpatient clinics and healthcare services by building strong relationships with physicians, community organizations, employers, and local stakeholders. This role serves as a liaison between the hospital and the community to increase patient referrals, expand access to care, and support the organization's strategic growth initiatives.
The Outreach Coordinator plans and participates in community events, health fairs, educational programs, and networking opportunities to increase awareness of available services. The position also tracks outreach activities, referral trends, and community engagement efforts while collaborating closely with clinic leadership, providers, marketing, and other hospital departments to achieve patient volume and service line goals.
Qualifications:
Required Education:
High school diploma or GED or the combination of education, knowledge, skills, mental development, and relevant experience that enables performance of all aspects of the position
AA Degree in Social Science or related field
Desirable Education:
BA degree in Social Science or related field
Required Experience:
Type 45 wpm and have a good working knowledge of computers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with physician offices, community organizations, and referral partners.
- Coordinate and represent the hospital at health fairs, community events, and outreach programs.
- Promote outpatient clinic services and educate the community on available healthcare resources.
- Increase patient referrals through strategic outreach and relationship-building.
- Track outreach activities, referral data, and prepare reports on outcomes.
- Collaborate with clinic staff, providers, and leadership to support business development initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of hospital services and communicate updates to referral sources.
- Ensure excellent customer service while serving as the hospital's community ambassador.

Pay: $21.00 - $38.22 per hour
