Overview
Holiday Inn El Paso Airport is seeking an energetic, results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development efforts and increase hotel revenue through corporate, group, government, sports, meetings, and local accounts.
The ideal candidate is a motivated hospitality sales professional who understands the El Paso market, enjoys building relationships, and is comfortable actively prospecting for new business. This position will work closely with the General Manager and hotel leadership team to achieve revenue, occupancy, and profitability goals.
Duties
- Develop and execute an annual and monthly sales plan.
- Prospect, solicit, and secure new corporate, group, government, sports, and local accounts.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing key accounts.
- Conduct regular outside sales calls and client visits.
- Schedule and conduct hotel tours and client appointments.
- Respond to group and corporate inquiries and follow up on proposals.
- Develop strategies to increase room nights, ADR, group business, and overall hotel revenue.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate account records.
- Participate in local networking, trade shows, community events, and industry functions.
- Develop relationships with local businesses, organizations, event planners, universities, military/government agencies, and other demand generators.
- Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to capture additional market share.
- Work closely with the General Manager, Revenue Management, Front Office, and Operations teams.
- Track sales activity and provide regular production and forecast reports.
- Meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals.
- Represent the hotel professionally in the community and with clients.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hotel, hospitality, or related sales experience preferred.
- Proven ability to generate new business and meet sales goals.
- Strong knowledge of the local El Paso business market preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Strong follow-up and prospecting abilities.
- Comfortable making cold calls and conducting outside sales visits.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a hotel leadership team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel sales/PMS/CRM systems.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for outside sales activities.

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
