Full-Time | In-Office Position
Looking for an Office Where Your Work Actually Matters?
Critter Wranglers is a local, family-owned pest and wildlife control company that's growing quickly, and we're expanding our office team.
We're looking for an organized, dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Office Coordinator who enjoys keeping things running smoothly.
This isn't a position where you'll spend all day doing the same task. Our office is fast-paced, our days are rarely boring, and you'll be involved in many different parts of the business.
You don't need pest control experience. We'll teach you our industry and our systems.
What You'll Do
You'll work closely with our Office Manager and customer service team to help keep our customers, technicians and daily office operations organized.
Responsibilities may include:
- Maintaining accurate customer account information
- Entering and updating information in our customer management software
- Reviewing accounts for accuracy and completeness
- Assisting with appointment scheduling
- Answering and directing customer calls
- Responding to customer questions by phone and email
- Entering detailed notes and documentation
- Following up on open customer requests and estimates
- Helping communicate information between the office and field technicians
- Assisting with service agreements and customer paperwork
- Keeping track of tasks that require follow-up
- Helping the office stay organized during busy periods
- Assisting the Office Manager with administrative projects
- Taking on additional responsibilities as you learn and grow
The Person We're Looking For
Experience is valuable, but how you work is more important to us than where you've worked.
We're looking for someone who:
- Is exceptionally organized
- Notices small details
- Can follow a process consistently
- Is comfortable working on a computer throughout the day
- Learns new software quickly
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Can prioritize when several things need attention at once
- Doesn't need constant supervision to stay productive
- Takes ownership when something needs to be handled
- Is dependable and punctual
- Enjoys being part of a small team
- Wants to learn and take on more responsibility over time
Experience in office administration, reception, customer service, scheduling, data entry or a similar position is helpful but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: 15–16/hour
- Regular performance-based bonus opportunities
- Paid holidays
- One week paid vacation after one year
- Training provided
- Opportunities for advancement as the company grows
- Small, supportive office team
- Stable, year-round industry
Why Critter Wranglers?
We're not a large corporation where your work disappears into a system.
We're a growing, family-owned East Tennessee company, and every member of our office plays an important role in keeping the business running.
That also means there's room to grow.
Someone who joins us today as an Administrative Assistant or Office Coordinator could develop into greater responsibilities as our company continues to expand.
We're looking for someone who wants to build something with us—not simply clock in and out.
This is an in-office, non-remote position. Reliable transportation is required, and candidates must be able to pass a background check.
If you're organized, dependable, eager to learn and looking for an opportunity where your contribution will be noticed, we'd like to hear from you.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
