Join our dynamic team as an interior/exterior painter and bring vibrant visions to life across residential, commercial, and renovation projects! In this energetic role, you will apply your expertise in surface preparation, painting techniques, and finishing touches to transform spaces with precision and creativity. Whether working on new constructions, restorations, or remodeling efforts, you’ll play a key part in elevating the aesthetic and functional quality of each project. Most work located in Watertown, SD. We do travel to surrounding areas as well. Looking for motivated, punctual, hardworking employees that are able to keep jobs moving forward when boss is not around.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Use hand tools and power tools such as brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, and scaffolding to execute detailed painting tasks.
- Apply various paint types.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols on construction sites and handling hazardous materials responsibly.
Skills
- Proficiency in residential and commercial painting techniques with an understanding of color theory for aesthetic harmony.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools including airless sprayers, and scaffolding setups.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations accurately.
