Join our dynamic team as an after school Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, feeding, and other essential self-care tasks
- Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Support clients in developing communication skills through teaching techniques tailored to their needs
- Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and educational staff to reinforce therapeutic goals across settings such as home, school, or community environments
- Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders
- Hands-on experience in behavioral health or special education settings, including home-based or school environments
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and implementation of behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards
- Demonstrated ability to collect behavioral data accurately and utilize data to guide intervention strategies
- Experience working within HIPAA guidelines to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with team members
- Passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities through direct behavioral therapy and client-centered approaches
