Drew Executive Search, Inc. is very excited to be working with a terrific Midwest based company in helping to fill a Field Service Technician role that will be based around the Tunica, MS area. This Field Service Technician will spend close to 90% of their time in Tunica, MS but will also be responsible for occasionally traveling to customer locations in Jonesboro and Little Rock, AR. This is a great opportunity to join a growing organization in a fast-paced Field Service Technician role. This Field Service Technician role will be working on a variety of equipment including both banking equipment (ATMs, cash recyclers, etc) and gaming equipment (ticket redemption kiosks, currency sorters, etc).
***This field service technician role will require weekend availability and we envision the schedule being Thursday-Monday 8am-5pm.***
Job duties for this Field Service Technician role include:
* Quickly respond to dispatched service calls, providing remote and onsite support to customers as required
* Perform equipment troubleshooting and repairs efficiently and effectively
* Install and train customers on software and equipment as needed
* Maintain accountability for parts, inventory and company vehicle
* Provide world class customer service
Qualifications for this Field Service Technician role include:
* Previous experience in a customer-facing Field Service Technician position is preferred
* Minimum one-year experience with electromechanical equipment servicing (banking equipment and gaming equipment strongly preferred)
* Thorough knowledge of basic electronics
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Good PC/computer skills
* Clean driving record and ability to obtain gaming license
In lieu of ATM or gaming repair experience, we've found that candidates that have experience in office equipment (printers/copiers) repair, medical field service engineers, cell tower experience or other types of positions that require both mechanical and electrical aptitude translate well.
In addition to a pay rate in the range of $20-$25/hr plus a $3/hr shift differential we also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes a very attractive health/life/vision insurance, paid holidays, PTO, a very competitive 401(k) with match. In addition we offer a guaranteed 40 hours/week. Offer are contingent upon a successful completion of a background, driving record, credit check plus drug screening.
