Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A or Class B CDL truck for local deliveries.
- Load, unload, and secure steel, aluminum, and other metal products.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Deliver materials safely while providing excellent customer service.
- Pull customer orders and prepare shipments accurately.
- Receive and stock incoming inventory.
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely (training available if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse duties.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- Previous experience as a CDL Driver, Delivery Driver, Truck Driver, Warehouse Associate, Material Handler, or Forklift Operator preferred.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and attendance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
