We are looking for a reliable and driven Property Manager Assistant to oversee our rental properties, ensure smooth operations, and maximize profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of multiple rental properties
- Handle tenant communications, applications, and lease agreements
- Schedule and oversee maintenance/repairs with contractors and vendors
- Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with housing codes
- Track rent collections, late payments, and enforce lease terms
- Maintain organized records of leases, invoices, and reports
- Support marketing efforts to reduce vacancies and attract quality tenants
- Weekly trips to Baltimore city permit office (transportation will be provided)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in property management, real estate, or a related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle tenant concerns with professionalism and problem-solving attitude
- Knowledge of rental laws, leasing practices, and housing compliance preferred
- Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Buildium, AppFolio, or similar) is a plus
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation required
