Laboratory Technician

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join a growing laboratory team in Brecksville, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain or expand hands-on experience in an industrial laboratory environment.
The Laboratory Technician will assist with sample preparation, routine laboratory testing, documentation, data entry, and general laboratory support while following established procedures and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, label, organize, and process laboratory samples for testing
- Perform routine laboratory tests according to established procedures and SOPs
- Operate and maintain basic laboratory equipment and instruments
- Accurately record test results, observations, and other laboratory data
- Enter testing information and results into computerized systems
- Assist with quality control and production-related laboratory activities
- Maintain organized laboratory records and documentation
- Follow established laboratory safety procedures and company guidelines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Communicate testing results or abnormalities to appropriate team members
- Assist laboratory personnel with additional testing and projects as needed
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Laboratory Science, or a related scientific field preferred
- Previous laboratory experience is preferred but not required for candidates with relevant education
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, testing, or sample preparation is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document results
- Comfortable performing data entry and working with computerized systems
- Ability to follow written procedures, SOPs, and safety requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Dependable and comfortable working in a structured laboratory environment
