Venue Maintenance Technician
Position Summary
The Venue Maintenance Technician supports the Facilities division in maintaining the functionality, appearance, safety, and operational readiness of our venues and properties. This full-time, hands-on position assists with preventive maintenance, repairs, property upkeep, fleet care, event preparation, and other day-to-day facility needs.
The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, attentive to detail, and takes pride in maintaining beautiful spaces and equipment that contribute to exceptional guest experiences.
Essential Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance and Repairs
Assist the Facilities Technician with routine maintenance and repairs across venue properties
- Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks and inspections
- Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, lighting, carpentry, painting, and mechanical issues
- Maintain tools, equipment, parts, and maintenance supplies
- Assist outside contractors and service vendors while they are working on-site
Venue and Property Readiness
- Help ensure venues are clean, safe, functional, and event-ready
- Conduct regular property walkthroughs and identify repair or safety concerns
- Assist with landscaping, outdoor maintenance, and seasonal property needs
- Support event setup and breakdown when required
- Keep maintenance, storage, and operational areas clean and organized
- Complete touch-ups and repairs that preserve the appearance of venue spaces
Operations and Safety
- Follow all company safety standards and established maintenance procedures
- Respond promptly to assigned maintenance requests and urgent facility needs
- Document completed work and communicate outstanding repair needs
- Assist with property improvement projects and larger repairs
- Use tools, ladders, vehicles, and maintenance equipment safely
- Provide courteous, professional support to coworkers, vendors, and guests
- Perform other facility-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in facilities, property, commercial, hospitality, or general maintenance
- Working knowledge of general building maintenance and repair practices
- Basic experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, landscaping, and mechanical repairs
- Experience with trucks, trailers, small engines, or equipment maintenance is preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work independently
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in an active venue environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
- Availability to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays based on event and property needs
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and perform physical work throughout the day
- Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to travel between venue properties as needed

Pay: $18.75 - $24.00 per hour
