We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Auto Body Technician with a focus on body work, frame & welding to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, positive attitude and the ability to restore vehicles to their original condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and estimate damage to vehicle bodies and frames.
- Remove damaged parts and components.
- Repair and replace damaged vehicle body parts
- Perform metal fabrication and welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and spot welding.
- Align and straighten vehicle frames
- Sand, grind, and prepare surfaces for painting.
- Install and align replacement parts such as doors, fenders, and bumpers.
- Ensure all repairs meet safety and OEM quality standards.
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in auto body repair and welding techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification from a vocational school or 2+ years of auto body repair experience
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and spot welding techniques.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body construction and repair techniques.
- Ability to use various hand tools and frame measuring equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
