We are a collaborative, patient-centered healthcare practice dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve optimal health and function. Our team of chiropractors, nurse practitioners, and physical therapists work cohesively to provide comprehensive, natural, and results-driven care.
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys working within an integrated model alongside chiropractic and medical providers.
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy treatments under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans and progress patients appropriately
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional movement programs
- Perform and assist with manual therapy techniques as directed
- Accurately document all treatments and patient progress
- Maintain efficient patient flow and time management throughout the day
- Communicate patient updates and progress with supervising PT and team members
- Attend weekly mentoring / training workshops
- Techniques commonly utilized (training provided): McKenzie Methos (MDT); Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS); and Postural Restoration Institute (PRI)
- Provide treatment support for patients referred from physical therapy, chiropractic, and medical (NP) providers
- Collaborate with DCs, PTs, and NPs to ensure continuity and effectiveness of care
- Assist in transitioning patients between disciplines when appropriate
- Reinforce provider care plans to optimize patient outcomes
- Adapt treatment approaches to meet both rehabilitative and wellness-focused goals
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active PTA license in the state of [State]
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a team-based, multidisciplinary environment
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred (but not required)
