Job Responsibilities:
Kennel/Tech Assistant
- Provide care for animals boarding at our clinic during the week and weekends, including feeding, cleaning, and walking.
- Assist technicians during office hours by helping hold animals during procedures such as sample collection or nail trims.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kennel area and ensure a comfortable environment for our furry guests.
- Support the team in daily clinic operations as needed including reception duties.
Reception / Client Service
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
- Answer multi-line phones and assist clients with questions
- Schedule appointments, confirm reminders, and manage daily flow
- Check clients in/out and process payments accurately
- Maintain and update client/patient records with attention to detail
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
Requirements:
- A love for animals and a genuine interest in their well-being.
- A strong desire to learn
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work on weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a veterinary clinic environment, though not required.
- Familiarity with basic animal handling techniques.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
