Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Regional CDL A Tanker Driver and take charge of transporting hazardous and non-hazardous liquids across regional routes. Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailer trucks equipped with tanker for regional deliveries.
- Load, secure, and unload freight, including hazardous materials and dangerous goods, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and hazardous materials regulations.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure on-time deliveries across assigned routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking truck loading/unloading equipment, cargo integrity, and compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards.
- Deliver freight to various locations while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations, hazard communication protocols, and safety procedures.
- Handle manual tasks involved in driving manual transmission driving, truck loading/unloading, and securing loads on tanker trailers.
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate route schedules and address any delivery issues promptly.
Experience
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker endorsement required.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, specifically with tractor-trailers hauling tankers.
- Prior delivery driver experience involving freight handling, route driving, and logistics cargo handling preferred.
- Familiarity with hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat) is highly desirable.
- Experience operating tankers is a plus.
- Knowledge of GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient delivery scheduling.
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, and safety protocols related to truck driving and hazardous materials transportation.

Pay: $1,600.00 - $1,900.00 per week
