Supplemental Health Care is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a part-time school-based opportunity in New Caney, Texas. This position offers the opportunity to work with students across all age and grade levels, providing evaluations and supporting therapy services within a collaborative educational environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations for students across various grade levels
- Develop recommendations and treatment plans based on evaluation findings
- Provide consultative services to educational teams and families
- Supervise and support a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student success
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines
Qualifications
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Texas Physical Therapist license
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Experience supervising a PTA preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
